Who We Are
Victoria Selby, Founder of La Voz "The Voice" Advocates
Victoria Selby is an advocate and an aspiring paralegal with a strong commitment to serving individuals in need. She is embracing a new chapter focused on education, service, and long-term career growth. She began her journey in healthcare, pursuing nursing and discovering a passion for helping others. After experiencing personal trauma and developing an illness, she was unable to continue in that field. However, these challenges became a turning point, shaping her resilience, and giving her firsthand insight into the barriers many people face when navigating systems without support.
Currently, Victoria is enrolled in college, where she is pursuing her education. She will advocate for individuals who feel unheard or overlooked. She is especially passionate about supporting those living with disabilities, coming from her own lived experiences to provide understanding, guidance, and a strong voice for others. Victoria brings valuable skills in public speaking, caregiving, and a natural ability to connect with people. She is known for her empathy, persistence, and dedication to helping others rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence. She approaches this journey with optimism, driven with the belief that her experiences can be used, to create meaningful change in her community.
